Flåm
Flåm is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. Its worth a trip during your time in Norway. `
We arrive to Flåm on a two hour river cruise aboard a ferry that used electric power to silently and swiftly move between the fjords, and then we took the Flåm railway on our way out, rising up through the mountains on the worlds steepest non-cog railway surrounded by waterfalls. We highly recommend coming and going in this manner.
Ægir BrewPub We ate here multiple times, not just because it was the most convenient place, but also because it was unbelievably good in a great atmosphere. We didn’t have a single bad dish or beer here.
Fjordsafari take a small boat out and get close to the waterfalls, seals, goats, and learn about the different areas in the Fjord. We took the “Heritage Taste” trip which included a stop in another small village for cheese and refreshments - worth it!
“Premium” ferry between Gudvagen and Flåm. The premium ferry was definitely worth the extra cost.
