Things we love in Denver
Union Station - the main train station in town which has gorgeous architecture and interior decorating. Grab a coffee and hangout in the main hall or walk through the shops.
Denver Biscuit Company - just do it. You won’t regret the buttery goodness.
Drive I-76 through the canyon and then head up Mt Evans Peak. Beautiful scenery; stop at Idaho Springs for food (cute mining town off the highway) - we ate at the Mexican place on the main street.
Red Rocks - even if you don’t have tickets stop by in the afternoon and people will be exercising on the stairs and maybe a band will be doing sound check.
TRVE Brewery - “metal bar”, but not really metal (Taylor says so). Great beers
RiNo area on Larimer street for bars and food
Other things
Eldorado springs (short and beautiful hike between Boulder and Denver)
The Kitchen - organic place in Boulder (I think there's an outpost in Denver as well) with delicious food and great for dinner
Lena - Latin American place in Baker that has delicious small plates and friendly bartenders / waiters
