Hirschgarten is a true beer garden in the middle of a deer park and a must do for an evening for beer, food, and pretzels. This isn’t a touristy beer garden like you picture for Octoberfest, but a place that german families and friends come together to hang out.

Nymphenburg is the palace and has extensive gardens that are free to walk. Look out for the geese and swans which will come in low overhead when they’re landing in the fountains!

Have lunch at a local Butcher Shop. Full disclosure, this is Taylor’s Cousins shop, but we promise its worth the trip! they serve a great lunch and have quality meats

Hotel Uhland is in a good area, has comfortable rooms, and serves a good, european breakfast
