Beilstein

Beilstein is a fairytale city that we took a river boat to from Cochem. You can walk the whole of the city in about 15 - 20 minutes so take your time wandering around.

Burg Metternich is a beautiful castle at the top of the village. Wind your way up through the village to the top of the castle for amazing views.

Walk down the path o the backside of the castle through some vineyards on your way to lunch.

Klosterrestaurant & Cafe is a gorgeous restaurant overlook the river with delicious food, perfect for a relaxing break in the day.

While you wait for your boat back to Cochem, enjoy some music or a beer in the small square, Marktplatz.
